Cervical Smears
To reduce the risk of cervical cancer, it is advised that smear tests are performed every three years on all women between the ages of 25 and 65. It is sometimes necessary to perform smear tests more often than this. The Health Authority will notify you when your test is due. If you have any questions regarding smear tests please feel free to discuss them with the practice nurses or doctors.
